Three people have been killed and a minimum of nine individuals sustained injuries in the newest assault from Ukraine on the border territory of Russia of Belgorod, according to regional authorities.

The loss of life took place subsequent to an assault on the village of Maslova Pristan in the early hours of Wednesday, authorities reported. Emergency workers were carrying on seeking for people suspected to be buried under rubble.

For the third day in a row that Ukraine has targeted the region, leaving thousands of people experiencing blackouts and a minimum of two more persons fatally injured.

These attacks come after two days of similar attacks that have caused blackouts and structural damage in urban Belgorod and nearby regions.

Larger Picture of Conflict

There has been a substantial rise in the quantity of strikes directed at Russia's fuel processing facilities in the last several months, leading to gasoline scarcities and expense hikes in certain Russian regions.
